Mega Millions “Big Money” Winning Ticket Sold In New York

Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing left one lucky New Yorker very happy.

The New York State Lottery announced that there was one "Big Money" winning ticket from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing sold in New York State.

That ticket won the 3rd place prize of $10,000 by matching four out of five numbers and also having the Mega Ball.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions 3rd place prize is 1 in 931,001

Tuesday's winning Mega Millions numbers were: 10-19-31-47-56 with a Mega Ball of 06.

No one claimed the grand prize on Tuesday, so the jackpot for the Friday Night Mega Millions drawing is up to $59 million dollars.

The Mega Millions is played every Tuesday and Friday and tickets cost $2 for a regular ticket and $3 for a ticket with the Megaplier. The Megaplier can double, triple, quadruple, or even increase the winning total of the ticket by 5 times.
