Flood Watch Issued For Western New York
With the heavy rain expected today, tonight, and tomorrow, the National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for most of Western New York. The flood watch is in place for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany counties.
We are expected to get a break from the rain on Wednesday before another round of rain comes back to Western New York. A warm-up is also expected, as well with temperatures rising from the mid-40s on Wednesday to the upper 60s and almost 70 on Thursday and Friday.
That rain is expected to continue into the weekend as well, with more showers expected on Sunday for Easter.
