
Massive Temperature Drop Coming To Western New York
It has been a hot July in Western New York, but there is some relief on the way as we get ready to wrap up the month.
Yesterday, the temperature hit 92 degrees at the Buffalo-Niagara International airport, which was the 5th time this month the high temperature reached 90 or above.
The cooldown will start tonight with rain pushing into the area late tonight. That rain will continue tomorrow as the latest cold front moves across the region.
We are looking for scattered showers for Thursday with a high near 73. Things get much nicer as we kick off the month of August on Friday.
We are looking for mostly sunny skies with a high near 76 for Friday. That nice weather will continue into the weekend. Saturday should be another sunny day with a high near 81. More of the same is set for Sunday with mostly sunny skies and a high near 83.
We are back into the mid-80s with some humidity on Monday. We are looking at mostly sunny skies with a high near 86.
