Major Puddle Jumping This Weekend, With More Rain
Rain will continue off and on through Saturday morning. Most of the rain will be light but it will be breezy. Areas along the Chautauqua Ridge could see a few wind gusts near 40 mph Friday night.
There will be a brief respite Saturday morning, but then,
the second half of the day. That will bring a round of heavy rainfall Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning.
Might want to double-check if you have candles about too. Sunday upon the heels of the rain there is now a High Wind Watch for most of WNY.
from 4 am Sunday until 1 pm Sunday afternoon. Southwest winds will reach 25- 35 MPH with gusts up to 60 MPH. The combination of heavy rain followed by the potential for strong winds could significantly increase the risk for uprooted trees, downed powerlines, and widespread power outages.
Good luck with the puddle jumping!
