5 Reasons Why People Are Excited For Snow In New York
We know that living in New York, wintertime brings one thing to the area. That would be snow.
If you ask 100 New Yorkers if they are excited about the snow, you would most likely get 50 people who are not, and 50 who are really excited.

So, if you are on Team "No-Snow" here are some reasons that people are getting ready and excited for the snow to return to New York.
IT MAKES THE RIDE SMOOTHER AROUND TOWN
We all know that the roads in New York are not the greatest. So when it does snow, all that white stuff fills all the pot-holes that are around town. While you might have a bone-jarring drive to work in the Summer, come Winter, your ride could be as smooth as a baby's bottom.
PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO PICK UP AFTER THEIR DOGS
Having pets is awesome but one of the biggest pet peeves (see what I did there) is cleaning up after your pet does its business. While with snow on the ground, your pet can go potty and you can just leave it there. By the time the snow melts, most of the leftovers will be gone too.

EVERYONE LOOKS THE SAME
Unlike the summer, where if you let yourself go for a bit, in the winter people are dressed in several layers and everyone seems to look the same. When you have a winter jacket, sweater, shirt, snow pants, boots, and more, you don't have to worry about what everyone looks like.
YOU HAVE A REASON TO TAKE THE DAY OFF
When it is summer and warm, you don't have a lot of excuses to use to call in sick to work. When it is cold and snowy and you wake up not feeling great, no one thinks that you are faking to enjoy a great day outside. They assume you are really sick.
THERE SO MANY FUN THINGS TO DO
Living in New York we all know there are plenty of things to do when it snows. From amazing ski resorts to hiking trails and snowmobile trails, there is something for everyone when the snow starts flying.
So even if you are a person who doesn't love the snow, there are some pretty good reasons to get excited at this winter's forecast.
