That is the one question that you will see and be asked over the next couple of days in Western New York.

If you are on Facebook or social media sites like Neighborood, I am sure you have seen plenty of posts asking "Did you hear that loud boom?" or "What was that loud sound last night?"

Well, here is the answer!

What Was That Loud Boom?

If you live anywhere near the Erie County Fair, you most likely heard plenty of loud booms. That is because the Erie County Fair hosts a fireworks show every night.

The fireworks show starts at 9:30 pm and runs until 9:40 pm. It will happen every night until the Fair ends on August 17th.

It could be several things, including aliens landing in your backyard! I am sure if you continue to monitor your social media feed, someone will come up with an answer that works for you.
