Famous NFL Host Visits Buffalo; Tells The World About Beef on Weck [WATCH]
This past weekend was like a dream for Buffalo Bills fans. The Bills not only beat the New England Patriots -- they absolutely dismantled them in a beatdown that took the NFL by storm.
47-17 was the final score at Highmark Stadium on Saturday night, and it wasn't even that close if we're being totally honest.
The Bills offense played what was the NFL equivalent of a perfect game on offense. Josh Allen completed 21 of 25 passes for 308 yards, 5 touchdowns and also rushed for 66 yards. The Bills did not face a 4th down, committed zero turnovers, did not punt, nor did they attempt a field goal attempt. They also scored on 7 of 7 drives in the win.
That's what we call, utter domination. It's a game that Bills Mafia will never forget.
Speaking of Bills Mafia, one of the biggest backers of Bills fans over the past two years has been Good Morning Football host, Kyle Brandt.
Brandt has been a host on The NFL Network show for a few years and in that time, has become a legend in sports media, due to his passion and amazing speeches.
Brandt decided on a whim to travel to Western New York on Saturday morning to attend the Bills game against the Patriots.
Before he went, however, he decided to do what many visitors do, and go grab wings. He asked on Twitter, and the number one response was Bar-Bill Tavern.
Brandt went to the Bar-Bills North location and he ordered what many suggested, the incredible Cajun Honey Butter BBQ wings.
But Brandt had no idea what a beef on weck sandwich was. He detailed his Buffalo expedition on Good Morning Football on Tuesday and told the world about what a beef on weck was and how much he loved it.
Check out the video below.
"Do you know what this is? It looks like a beef sandwich, and it is, said Brandt."
"It's got this salt on top and these seeds, and then you dip it in the au jus," added Brandt.
Brandt and fellow host, Peter Schrager, also name-dropped Sabres players like Dominik Hasek, Miroslav Satan, Dale Hawerchuk and Dave Andreychuk.
This video means everything to Buffalonians. Go Bills and yes, Mount Up!
