One of the biggest questions the national media had about the Buffalo Bills coming into this season was who would Josh Allen throw to?

With the loss of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, the only returning wide receiver who caught a ball from Josh Allen was Khalil Shakir. The good news for Bills Mafia is that Shakir and Allen have good chemistry......really good chemistry.

In fact, because of that chemistry, Shakir is on the verge of setting a crazy NFL record and it could happen this Sunday night in Baltimore.

That record is for the most consecutive targets and catches in a row. As of this writing, Khalil Shakir has caught 27 consecutive targets. That means every ball intended for him, he has caught. It doesn't matter if it was high, low, or tipped, if the ball was intended for Shakir, he caught it.

His current streak of 27 consecutive targets caught has tied him with Michael Thomas, who set the mark in 2018 for the longest streak in the NFL by a wide receiver since such stats were tracked in 1991.

Will Shakir break that record on Sunday? There is a good chance that he will with the way both he and Allen have played so far this season.

Bills Mafia members are hoping to see more of that Sunday night.
