The connection between Buffalo and the University of Wyoming is growing stronger with two former Buffalo BIlls being inducted into the University of Wyoming Athletics Hall of Fame.

The connection between Buffalo and the University of Wyoming became its strongest when the Bills drafted Josh Allen with the 7th overall pick in the 2018 draft.

Allen had played for two seasons for the Cowboys before making the leap to the NFL and this year proved he is one of the greatest players in NFL history as he won the NFL MVP award this year.

He was the first Buffalo Bills quarterback ever to win the award. Allen was also one of the best players to ever play for the University of Wyoming.

He now headlines the 2025 University of Wyoming Athletics Hall of Fame Class.

Allen was the highest Cowboy ever drafted in the NFL, he was the MVP of the 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and has generated over $46 million dollars in exposure for the school. You will see plenty of Wyoming #17 jerseys around Western New York on gameday.

Wyoming even used Allen for a commercial they ran during the Super Bowl this year.
