In an interview published in Sunday's paper, Poyer stated that he doesn't know where he stands with the Buffalo Bills front office.
Poyer signed as a free agent with the Bills in 2017 after playing three years with the Cleveland Browns. During his time in Buffalo, Poyer along with his safety counterpart Micah Hyde turned into one of the best safety duos in the NFL.
This season was far different than the first several years in Buffalo. Hyde was injured and missed most of the season, while Poyer played through several injuries.

During his interview with the Buffalo News, Poyer stated that he played with a dislocated elbow that he hurt in training camp and suffered a concussion during the Bills' playoff loss to the Bengals.
He said that he will now enjoy the free agent process and if the Bills want him back next season, they will find a way to make it happen.
Poyer has been linked to several teams so far this off-season including the Bills' archrival the Miami Dolphins.
