Buffalo Beats Kansas City, Again, Winning 28-21
The ninth week of the NFL's 2025/26 season has brought us one of the most anticipated games of the year, which looks like the annual matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. Since 1960, this game between these two founding members of the American Football League has made its 58th meeting, and the Bills earned their 31st all-time victory against the Chiefs.
Since 2020, the Bills have dominated the Chiefs in the regular season, winning 5 out of the 6 times they've faced each other, but Kansas City has owned the Bills in the playoffs, beating the Bills each of the four times the teams have faced each other this decade in the postseason: 2021, 2022, 2024, and in 2025.
The Bills got on the scoreboard early in the first quarter with Josh Allen tossing a beautiful pass to Dalton Kincaid, who was able to put the Ball in the end zone for a 23-yard touchdown reception.
The scoring continued for the Bills in the second quarter both Ty Johnson and Josh Allen ran for touchdowns. Johnson took a hand off three yards into the end zone for his first touchdown of the season, while Allen drove the Buffalo Snow Plow into the end zone for another rushing touchdown for the NFL MVP Quarterback, his 6th of the season.
The third quarter saw the Bills put one more score on the board, with Josh Allen driving the Buffalo Snow Plow again into the end zone, earning his 72nd career rushing touchdown.
As the game went into the fourth quarter, the Chiefs were driving down the field until Mad Max Hairston snagged his first career interception, grabbing a deep Patrick Mahomes pass away from Xavier Worthy to end the Chiefs' hopes of evening the score between the two powerhouses.
Now the 6-2 Buffalo Bills look forward to NFL Week Ten when they travel to Miami to face the Dolphins for the 125th time since 1966.
