3 Popular Beach Bars Announce Opening Days

When people come to Buffalo, the last thing they think we will have is a beach bar. We've got a couple of them, and some have announced when they're opening.

Understandably, people don't think there would be beach bars in Buffalo. If they aren't from here, they don't realize how beautiful the weather is in the summer and how Lake Erie is our northwestern border. But some of us have spent many summers at those bars watching some of the best sunsets while sipping on a frosty cold beverage.

Summer will be here soon

We need that reminder in Western New York. Although our summers are amazing, we have to wait through Buffalo winters and some of the most temperamental springs in the country to get to them. Although we are part of the way through spring and we are still getting snow, it will be sunny and warm soon, and we're going to need a beach bar open for those first couple of beautiful days.

Multiple beach bars are announcing the start of their seasons

The good news is that you won't have to wait long.

Sole at Woodlawn Beach put a post up to point out that they're excited to start their season and they've got a car and bike show coming in May.

Turtle Joe's Sandbar has announced their opening date this year will be on April 17th.

Mickey Rats is coming back too. They've announced their opening date on May 3rd.
