The Buffalo Sabres are just two points away from clinching a playoff spot this season. They are currently in 1st place in the Atlantic Division and tied for 1st place with the Carolina Hurricanes for 1st place in the Eastern Conference.

The Sabres have 100 points with 7 regular-season games left. Oddsmakers have the Sabres' chances of making the playoffs at 99.99%.
