Bandit Mania has taken Buffalo by storm. If there is one thing that fans of the defending National Lacrosse League champions are, it's full of passion. They're passionate about lacrosse and the Buffalo Bandits.

That was clear as day on Sunday, May 5, 2024, as 19,000 screaming fans packed into the KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo to take on the Toronto Rock in game 2 of the NLL Semifinals. The Bandits, who decisively beat that in game 1, were looking to close out Toronto and advance to their 3rd consecutive finals.

While the Bandits took control over the Rock early in game 1, that was much harder for the Bandits to do in game two as the Rock played much better defense and had an aggressive offense. That play had the Rocking in a commanding 7-4 lead over the Bandits going into the 4th quarter.

After some back-and-forth play, the Bandits were able to take the lead deep in the 4th quarter.

From there, it was all she wrote for Toronto as the Bandits continued to pour on the offense, putting the Rock away with a 10-8 final score.

That victory not only eliminated Toronto from the playoffs in a sweep but also allowed Buffalo to advance to its third straight NLL Finals.

Banditland exploded when the final horn sounded as thousands of crazy Buffalonians, all decked in orange, jumped on their feet screaming and cheering at the top of their lungs.

The Bandits now look forward to the NLL Championship series against the Albany Firewolves.

This is shaping up to be an I90 battle as both New York teams are going to be putting miles on their vehicles as they make the 291-mile drive from MVP Arena to the KeyBank center.
