The Buffalo Bandits signed Christian Watts, Clay Scanlan, and Cory Highfield to one-year deals, pending league approval, the team announced on Tuesday.

Watts already has some familiarity with the organization, as he was on the practice squad for the 2023-24 season after finishing up at Siena College.

The Buffalo native had 98 points in 56 games at Siena and received MAAC All-Second Team honors in 2023. He was second on the team in goals with 34 and points with 42, in addition to being selected for the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Senior All-Star Game.

The forward played for the Rapids in the Upstate Collegiate Box Lacrosse League in 2022 and 2023 before being selected in the fifth round of the 2022 NLL Entry Draft by Buffalo.

While in the UCBLL, he led the league in points with 52 points in 2022 and 63 points in 2023 for a league record 115 career points.

Scanlan, a 5-foot-10 forward, was selected by Halifax in the second round of the 2019 NLL Entry Draft. He was third among all Langley Thunder players in goals (23) and fourth in points (47) in 2024.

Highfield, a 6-foot-2 transition player, is a three-year NLL veteran and was drafted by the Rochester Knighthawks in the second round of the 2019 NLL Entry Draft.

The Georgetown, Ontario native played in five games for the Bandits after being acquired via trade in February. He has 20 career points and 83 loose-ball recoveries.
