To say Week 4 was disappointing for Buffalo would be an understatement. After holding their last two opponents to a mere 10 points and scoring at least 31 points in each of the first three games, the Bills were held to 10 points in their Sunday Night Football loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Although the rookies did not get too much action, here’s how they did in the 35-10 loss.

Keon Coleman

The rookie receiver saw an increase in playing time after seeing only 19 snaps in Week 3. He didn’t play in the first quarter at all against the Jaguars due to what head coach Sean McDermott referred to as a time-related issue from earlier that week.

Coleman played 43 of 59 snaps against the Ravens in Week 4. On four targets, he managed three receptions and 51 yards.

His longest reception was a 24-yarder with 8:47 in the third to make it 1st and 10 at their own 43-yard line. The drive ended in a fumble after a terribly-timed trick play went wrong.

Coleman had a 21-yard catch with 1:32 left in the third quarter for a first down and to place the ball at Baltimore’s 20-yard line. The drive ended with a sack on Josh Allen for a loss of 16 yards on 3rd and 4.

Ray Davis

As the run game struggled against Baltimore, the rookie running back saw slightly less time on the field than the previous week. Davis was in on 10 snaps against the Ravens  but played 12 snaps against Jacksonville and scored his first NFL touchdown.

Davis had seven carries for 11 yards, and the Bills totaled 81 yards on the ground as a team.

He played all five downs on the last drive, with a 7-yard gain, followed by a 2-yard gain heading into the two-minute warning. He then managed a 3-yard gain, a 1-yard gain, and a 2-yard gain to close out the matchup.

Javon Solomon

Solomon played only 5% of the snaps on defense. During those three snaps, he managed one solo tackle. His tackle brought on 4th and 6 for the Ravens in the fourth quarter, and they opted to punt.

In Week 3, the rookie defensive end had his first strip-sack in the NFL.

Cole Bishop

After recording only one non-solo tackle against Jacksonville last week, the rookie safety mustered up six total tackles against the Ravens, two of which were solo.

Bishop played 41 snaps (72%) on defense and 16 snaps (59%) on special teams.

He had a solo tackle in the third to bring up 3rd and 20 for Baltimore, which led to a punt. He brought down Henry on the following drive to bring up 2nd and 5, and then the drive ended with another punt.

Casey Toohill

Last week was full of firsts for Toohill, who got his first sack and first fumble recovery in the NFL. Sunday wasn’t as eventful for the defensive end, who finished the game with one solo tackle.

Toohill played 16 snaps on defense and 18 snaps on special teams.

He brought down Derrick Henry for no gain on the play with 9:38 in the second quarter, but there was also offensive holding on the play, which resulted in a 10-yard penalty. He helped Dorian Williams bring down Henry again in the third quarter.

Joe Andreessen

Buffalo Joe didn’t see much action on Sunday night. He only played three defensive snaps, despite Terrel Bernard and Matt Milano being out with a pectoral and bicep injury, respectively.

The linebacker crew didn’t look the hottest against the Ravens, but I think Andreessen could’ve gotten some more snaps once it was clear no Hail Mary could salvage the game.

He didn’t record any tackles.

Andreessen was in on 19-of-27 snaps for special teams.
