The holidays are finally here in Western New York, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate the season than by hopping on a nostalgic holiday-themed train to the North Pole!

Yep, believe it or not, Santa’s workshop and his elves are only a short train ride away from the Buffalo area, and the easiest (and most fun) way to get there is via one of our area’s trusty railroads.

Not only does chugging along on a cheery Christmas train feel like you’re living in your own Hallmark holiday movie, but it somehow makes our snow-covered hometown feel a little less drab and a lot more merry and bright.

During the holidays, three local trains will come to life with cars that are filled with holiday decorations, cozy cocoa, views of twinkling lights, and some of our favorite Christmas characters (including Santa!).
