With the warmer weather melting much of the snow on the ground, persistent road issues have popped up with a vengeance.
People all over the region have been complaining about potholes that dot streets all over Western New York. People are dodging major potholes from the inner city to the suburbs that can cause significant damage to your car if you're not careful.

Things have gotten so bad that the City of Buffalo has just announced it is dedicating millions in taxpayer dollars to repair these road hazards quickly.

Buffalo is planning to spend $17 million repaving roads in 2025, and those projects will happen on more than 175 streets in every corner of the city. In addition to this major road repair project, the city is also dedicating more than three dozen sets of road repair crews to be in the streets making repairs in March.
In addition to government crews, the city may use private contractors to supplement repairs and speed them up.
City officials urge people to contact the City's 311 Call & Resolution center and report potholes that need repair. The repairs will be prioritized based on the number of complaints received, so your input is needed.
