A Georgia man is in big trouble in Buffalo. The 34-year-old man is facing drug and weapon charges. Von D. Harmon, Jr., is facing drug and weapons charges after a joint investigation with local, state, and federal agencies, according to WGRZ.
He was arraigned in Buffalo City Court on charges of:
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Eleven counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon
- Eight counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
- One count of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia

Harmon was taken into custody on January 6, 2026, after police executed a search warrant at a home on Madison Street in Buffalo. Police found a plastic bag that supposedly contained ecstasy pills and suspected crack cocaine. They also allegedly found a scale and 11 illegal firearms in a bedroom of the home. Eight of the weapons were allegedly high-capacity ammunition devices.
Harmon, Jr. will return to court on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 9:30 am for a felony hearing. He is being held without bail and is facing up to 25 years in prison.
The bust was due to the work of the Buffalo Police Department Intelligence Unit, FBI Safe Streets Task Force, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and the New York State Police.
