The New Waterpark Should Go Here In Western New York

Western New York needs a new indoor waterpark and there is the perfect town to build it in.

The kids are getting ready for spring break, and families are trying to make plans for what they are going to do, or where they are going travel to. Typically, most families will head to someplace warmer with a beach and sunshine. But there are many families who choose to stay here in the Buffalo area. Whether it based on finances or family schedule, not all families fly away for spring break.

If you have little kids, you know that there are limited things to do around Western New York when the weather is not ideal for being outside. Sure, we are blessed with a great zoo and museums and Canalside and plenty of parks. However, it seems that there is a need for some other form of family fun right here in our own backyard.

A New Waterpark For WNY?

As we watch the new stadium being built in Orchard Park, there is a prime spot for a new water park around the corner on McKinley Parkway. The old McKinley Park Inn would be a great place to build either a water park , nice hotel or even a new ice rink.

The Hamburg area, like East Aurora, has been growing with young families. Traveling across the boarder is not a major inconvenience, and is a bit of an adventure. However, when the cold winds and snow are blowing or when the rain pours down on spring break, it would be great to have a place for families to enjoy as a destination here in the 716.
