If you love to camp, New York State has thousands of camp sites available and that doesn't take in to account the thousands of privately owned campgrounds!

The Number One Camper Complaint

When you get away from the arguments about politics, this state is beautiful! The natural wonder that spans from Buffalo to the Hudson Valley is breathtaking! We are blessed to have so many things to do outdoors and camping is a great way to see it. New York does a fantastic job of keeping the parks nice and giving Greta information and advice for those who are about to enjoy them.

But when you do camp, remember that families, and individuals, are trying to escape the lights and noise of the everyday grind and experience the serenity of Mother Nature.

According to New York State, the biggest issue is NOISE.

"Noise is the most common complaint we get. Please keep music, conversations, electronic devices, and activities at a respectful noise level and obey quiet hours (10 PM to 7 AM). However, our campgrounds are vibrant places, and it’s also important to be tolerant of others who are enjoying their campsite differently than you".

There is a balance that can happen to make sure that we all enjoy the summer and camping season.
