The Worst Year For These In Buffalo, New York?
Is everyone you know suffering from some sort of allergy these days? There are some people we know in the Western New York area who are refusing to even leave the house until the pollen Count comes down.
This past weekend, much of New York State was under some sort of air quality alert. The smoke from wildfires in Canada, the Ozone levels and the pollen all are making it tough to breath for some. It is even worse for those with lung issues.
It seems like this might be the worst year yet for at least three things this spring and summer.

This seems to be a bad year for allergies to cottonwood and pollen and the black-fly season in New York State.
Black-Flies
Have you been bitten by any black-flies yet? The early hot weather that we had and the wet spring might have led to a better (worse?) season for the little critters and they always seem to draw blood when they bite!
Pollen
Everyone is sneezing and the cars are all covered with a green dust these days. It seems like this pollen/spring allergy season is worse than most. According to one report, "On top of warming weather, higher carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere "are making plants produce more pollen as well," Parikh said. "The higher amounts of pollen make allergies more severe."
Cottonwood
What looks like snow flying in June is cottonwood seeds floating on the breeze and it is everywhere! It makes it tough to breath for some and can also be a mess for anyone who owns a pool or AC unit.
