The Waterfront in Buffalo is continuing to grow every year.  This year, a new addition includes a sweet shop that just opened.

If you've ever gone down to Riverworks to walk along the river as kayakers make their way out to the lake and thought, "I could really use something sweet right now," you're in luck. A brand new sweet shop has opened up and is offering treats like homemade fudge and other delicious baked goods.

Say hello to The Sweet Shoppe at Riverworks

It's the newest shop in an area that has become a great destination for locals and tourists who visit Buffalo.

You'll find it in the concessions area by the main entrance. For their soft opening over Memorial Day weekend, they offered 12 house-made fudge flavors. They also still have the soft serve ice cream that they began to serve at the end of last summer.  The baked goods were available courtesy of Kayla from Cupcake, Frosting & Sprinklez LLC.

What else is there to do at Buffalo Riverworks?

Thinking about checking Buffalo Riverworks out?  They've been adding a lot of things to do for people who are just in town for a weekend, or those who have lived here their whole lives.  If it's been awhile since you've checked them out, you should stop down on a nice day.  They've got the Buffal-O ferris wheel, kayaks that you can rent, a zip line, a virtual reality arcade, a full bar, and more. They even host concerts on their riverfront barge stage and display some art pieces from local artists.
