Scott Kelly Résumé Video Has a Massive Buffalo,NY Connection
Aside from the big win for the Buffalo Bills this past weekend, most people around Western New York have been buzzing about a video that has now been viewed more than 50 million times. Anyone who has lived in the Buffalo or 716 area their whole life knows that with any story, there is always a connection back to home and this viral moment is no exception.
Reimer Home Services, a sponsor of our show and station, also happens to be a company I use personally. While the story isn’t about the services they provide (which are excellent), they deserve a quick mention. If you’re looking for a job or great home service in Western New York, they are a fantastic company to work with.
That being said, even if you’ve never heard of Reimer before, this story is everywhere and the tie back to Buffalo makes it even better.
The Scott Kelly Résumé TikTok Video Takes Off
The now famous Scott Kelly résumé video posted on TikTok has racked up more than 50 million views. Scott has since been interviewed on national platforms, including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His name has even popped up in clever social media posts from national brands like Clorox and several major fast food chains.
Scott Kelly is quickly becoming a household name nationwide, but there’s much more to him than just what’s written on his résumé.
Meet the Buffalo Man Behind the Viral Moment

For Scott Kelly, this unexpected moment has opened some incredible doors.

A Shared Bond: Two Army Veterans!
Both Brandon and Scott are United States Army veterans, and we are extremely grateful for their service. The two actually spent time at Fort Drum in New York years ago. Scott’s résumé landed in Brandon’s hands via a recruiter, creating yet another Western New York full circle moment.
Scott isn’t actively looking for a job right now, but who knows what opportunities this viral spotlight may bring?
A Thank You to Brandon and Scott
A big thank you to Brandon for joining us on the show and for being humble enough to laugh along with all of us. The whole world enjoyed watching a guy try to balance checking a résumé and enjoying a concert at the same time! Scott, we wish you nothing but the best of luck!
