Phones Will Get An Alert Across New York State

There is an alert that will be sent to all phones across New York State that you should be ready for today.

If you are like most people, your phone is a necessity. It is hard to imagine what life was like without a phone in your purse or pocket all day!

But beyond being reached by family or work, the phone you have is also a great way for the government or local security officials to send out some sort of important information or alert.

According to reports, there will be an emergency alert that will be sent out to all phones in New York State and it will also be featured on television and radio at the same time.

This will be a test of the Amber Alert System today.

"New York State Police will conduct a test of the AMBER Alert system Thursday morning at 10 a.m".
