Niagara Falls Will Be Illuminated To Support The Buffalo Bills

We are counting down the hours now before the Bills and Broncos divisional round playoff game in Denver. If you're in Bills Mafia, something is happening tonight in Niagara Falls that you might want to check out before kickoff.

Niagara Falls will be illuminated in red, white, & blue

For those of us who live in Western New York, we know that they often illuminate the actual falls in Niagara Falls to recognize and support certain causes or events. It's not uncommon to see them lit up in purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, or pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

This time, it's for the Bills. Tonight, the falls will be lit up in red, white, and blue to support the Buffalo Bills as they get ready to take on the Denver Broncos.

What better way to show the world that you're from Western New York?

Talk about an Instagram-worthy opportunity for Bills fans! For a long time, it was hard to find a fan of the Buffalo Bills that lived outside of the 716. When you did find one, they probably moved to that city from Western New York. But now, there are Bills fans all over the place. So this is your chance to get to Niagara Falls and change your profile picture to you in your Bills gear next to one of the most iconic Western New York landmarks in the world. You can show that not only are you a Bills fan, but you live here too!

The lights are courtesy of the Niagara Falls illumination board. They've financed and operated the “illumination of Niagara Falls” since 1925.

Look for the Bills' colors on Friday, January 16th, and then again on Saturday, January 17th at 8 pm and 10 pm. They will remain lit in those colors for 15 minutes each time, so don't miss it!
