JUST IN: Massive Cell Phone Outage Impacting New York State

There are reports about a major cell phone outage that has affected customers across New York State. This is the second outage for a major carrier in the last couple of days.

There are few things more frustrating than when your phone is not working or when you forget or lose your phone. But in this case, there is a quick remedy and hopefully they have figured out the cause.

Early on Thursday, it was reported that AT&T customers were without a cell signal.

Your phone may be in the SOS mode and you will need to keep rebooting it until it clears and finds a sigbal.

If you have ever been without a phone, you realize how connected to the phone you are. I have literally driven back to my house from work on mornings when I left my phone there. It is hard to believe, but somehow we all survived without cell phones and being reachable 24-7 back in the day.
