The Buffalo Bills cut the ribbon on their brand-new stadium this morning. Of course, Buffalo Bills legend Jim Kelly was there to check it out, and he shared some news about a recent setback that he experienced.

Jim Kelly addresses recent stroke

Today was a day for celebration for the Buffalo Bills, and a day of a bit of reflection for Jim Kelly. While talking about his excitement about the new stadium he also mentioned that he had what he called "a little setback." He said that a couple weeks ago he suffered a minor stroke.

While something like that might make other people feel like the world was out to get them, Kelly began by saying that he felt blessed.

“I had a stroke, and, but I spent a few days in the hospital. But right now I feel good. Eyesight's not great. My hearing still sucks, but that's part of life. It's part of getting old, but I feel really good. Scans have been clean and all. Everything's good, all good.” - Jim Kelly

Kelly loves the new stadium

While talking about the new stadium, he couldn't help be feel impressed and think that it would offer a huge advantage to the Bills. He wants to see how loud it will get in there when all the Bills fans finally get inside and start making noise.

"Imagine the fans in there and how crazy and wild and loud they’re gonna be. That’s what I'm looking forward to. I want to see how loud this stadium can get, and from what I’ve been told, it's going to be unbelievable.” - Jim Kelly

His prayer is that he gets a couple more years to watch a lot of Bills games there at Highmark Stadium with his grandson.
