The Most Impressive Stat From Last Night Happened Off The Field
Last night, the Bills were featured on Monday Night Football and they were great. But the most impressive stat happened off the field.
You may have seen the Bills take on the Jags last night in a game that the Bills won in a landslide. There were definitely some stats to take note of. Obviously the first half was full of things like the 6 total touchdowns by 6 different players. They now lead the NFL with 6 different players who have scored touchdowns this season.
Josh Allen became the first quarterback in NFL history to
- Complete 75% of his passes
- Throw for 4+ Touchdowns
- Have No Turnovers
- Take no sacks
- Lead his team in rushing yards
According to Buffalo Bills PR, The Bills also:
- Tied the fourth largest margin of victory in team history
- Had six different players score an offensive TD for the third time in team history
- Improved the team's point differential to +64, the second-best mark in team history through 3 weeks
However, one of the most impressive stats may have come after the game. The Southtowns Scanner is claiming that there was "not one report of an injury accident, pedestrian struck, anything on fire, or even any EMS calls anywhere in the town."
If you've ever been to a game, you know how big this is. Granted, law enforcement may have had to handle a few issues, but when it comes to emergency services like fire and EMS, they didn't have an incident. So not only did the team play out of their minds on the field, but the fans brought all that energy and then weren't out of control as they left. That's impressive considering how many people were there. Emotions were high and people still kept it under control.
Now if we can just keep that energy all year...
