There was a big explosion that had someone air lifted to the emergency room in Fredonia, New York at the local McDonald's.

While everyone was watching the Buffalo Bills game on Sunday night, there was an emergency that happened around 10:20 p.m. Three people were injured during the incident, and two were treated at the scene, and another one was airlifted to the hospital..

As of right now, everyone seems they be making a recovery. What caused the explosion at the McDonald's in Fredonia, New York? As of right now, we do not have exact information, but the Fredonia and Dunkirk Fire Departments were on hand to handle the situation. When the call came in over the scanner, the report was that the victim, who needed to be transported by helicopter, had very severe burns.

UPDATE: Here is what happened and how the explosion happened. Apparently, a gas line leaked and was lit from another grill that had an open flame. According to the ChautauquaToday:

The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team has determined that an employee had pulled out a grilling unit in order to clean behind it. In doing so, the natural gas line that supplied gas to the unit became detached, allowing natural gas to flow freely and was ignited by another grilling unit. Investigators add that safety features that were in place automatically shut off the natural gas supply and extinguished the fire, minimizing the damage.
