DON’T Drink This Apples Juice Sold In New York State
There is a large recall that is underway and it involves a popular apple juice that is sold across New York State.
The fall means apple season here in New York State and there are dozens of amazing apple farms to enjoy. Drinking and buying local apple juice not only tastes great, it is a great way to support the economy in your area.
This particular recall is for juice that has been previously sold at Walmart as there are some cases that may have contained a low level of arsenic.

What is arsenic? It is described on Wikipedia as: " occurs naturally in many minerals, usually in combination with sulfur and metals, but also as a pure elemental crystal. It has various allotropes, but only the grey form, which has a metallic appearance, is important to industry".
According to reports, there is not a major threat to humans with this particular amount of arsenic found in the juices named in the recall. However, it is best to dump it out or return for a refund.
There are few things that families love more than picking apples in the early fall! The cooler air and the smell of the apples in the orchard makes for the perfect setting for some fall fun. We take our kids every year and it really is a great experience! New York State is loaded with apples this year! If you go picking, don't forget to try the local ciders as well!
