We are lucky enough that Buffalo has been getting some pretty decent-sized movies filmed throughout Western New York over the past few months. Filming has been all over the place from Akron, New York to Lewiston and down to Ellicottville, New York. All three movies are going to be on TV before the month of November is over with on either the Hallmark Channel or Great American Family.

There were actually THREE Holiday movies filmed in Buffalo this year. Two of them were Hallmark movies:

  • A Newport Christmas (Hallmark) - Already out
  • "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story (Hallmark) - November 22, 2025
  • A Christmas Spark with Mario Lopez (Great American Family) - November 28, 2025

Mario Lopez was the biggest celebrity to pass through Buffalo to do filming this year. But, actually, he didn't just pass through. Mario Lopez stayed in Buffalo for a few weeks while they filmed in the Tonawandas and in Lancaster.

In addition, Hallmark is making this Buffalo Bills movie such a priority that they are even going as far as hosting a parade in East Aurora with the cast from Hallmark, in addition to the Buffalo Bills players and coaches who made an appearance.

When is the Hallmark / Buffalo Bills parade going to happen?

The Buffalo Bills are hosting a parade for the premiere of their Hallmark movie on THURSDAY, November 13. The parade is going to start at 6:30 PM, but don't expect it to be too long. It will start at  Main Street and Pine Street from 42 North and then go up Pine, make a right onto Main Street and then go to the Aurora Theater. That means that the parade is going to be .1 mile. That is one tenth of a mile for the entire crowd to line up on? That doesn't seem long enough or enough room. The rest of the world will not be able to see it until Hallmark Debuts it on the 22nd.
