Now that we know the Philadephia Eagles are Super Bowl Champions, every NFL team is gearing up to win the next Super Bowl.

There isn't a lot of downtime in the NFL, so here is a look at some important dates you will need to know as a fan as we get ready for the next season.

FEBRUARY

18th - NFL teams can begin to use the franchise or transition player tag on their players. They have until March 4th to make that decision.

24th - The NFL scouting combine kicks off. It runs until March 3rd and invited college players will have a chance to show off their skills in front of all the NFL teams.

MARCH

10th - Player contract talks can begin. NFL clubs can talk with agents about players who are free agents this offseason. No official deals can be announced.

12th - The NFL free agency period officially begins, and teams can sign any player who is a free agent.

30th - The annual NFL league meetings take place in Florida.

APRIL

7th - Any NFL team that hired a new head coach can begin off-season workouts.

18th - Restricted free agents need to sign their offers by the end of the business day

21st - NFL teams that did not hire a new head coach can begin off-season workouts

24th-26th - The NFL draft takes place in Green Bay

MAY

2nd-5th or 9th-12 - NFL teams can hold their 3-day rookie minicamp

Middle of the month - The NFL schedule will be released.

JULY

Middle of the month. NFL teams can hold rookie training camps.

21st - NFL clubs can officially open their training camps to all players.
