I-90 Closed Due To Accident In New York State
The Thurway is closed heading westbound this evening due to an accident.
Heavy snow and gusty winds have created near-whiteout conditions across Western New York. Travel conditions have deteriorated across the region. The bad weather is to blame for several accidents, including one that has the I-90 westbound closed down.
According to Nitech, the I-90 Westbound is closed beyond exit 55, the exit to the 219 in West Seneca, because of a crash.
There was also an accident on the 90 westbound near the Eden exit that also caused delays. At the time of this writing, the right lane remains closed due to that accident.
