I've never taken anything more from a hotel room than the little sample soaps and shampoos that are left in the bathroom.  Maybe it's my upbringing, or maybe it's because I have never stayed in a hotel who's bathrobes and towels are that nice... ha!  If you have the urge though to snatch something, beware!  Apparently, a Miami company has come out with tracking devices for hotel linens!

CNN.com  reports Linen Technology Tracking has patented a radio frequency identification chip to keep inventory of those often misplaced or stolen hotel items.  There's word three hotels in New York, Miami and Honolulu are using the device.  Apparently, the trackers have already busted several thieves who were then politely asked to return the robes, towels, even sheets they had stolen.
