Heavy Rain This Weekend For Western New York
Today might be the best day for you to get anything done outdoors. Mother Nature is bringing the rain to Western New York this weekend.
Today, we will start off with dry conditions, which will remain that way for most of the day across Western New York. Rain showers are expected to start moving in late tonight, and the rain will continue through the weekend.
Heavy periods of rain are expected on both Saturday and Sunday, with some areas in Western New York getting more than one and a half inches of rain this weekend. The excessive amount of rain could lead to possible flooding across Western New York.
The temperatures are expected to drop on Sunday evening, with some of that rain turning into snow overnight and into Monday. Rain and snow showers are possible all day on Monday before we get another shot of sunshine on Tuesday. It will remain cold, with our high temperatures remaining in the 30s for both Monday and Tuesday.
