Residents in the town of Hamburg, New York, will have a new way to get information from the town starting on May 1st.

Starting on Friday, May 1st, residents in the Town of Hamburg will have a new way to get information about emergency alerts and information.

The town is changing over to the CivicReady Mass Notification System to send out alerts about emergencies and community events around the town.

Residents can receive alerts via phone calls, text messages, and/or emails by signing up for the alert system. It is free to sign up for the CivicReady Mass Notification System.
