Gas For Under $3 At These Stations In New York
The gas prices across New York State continue to fall but there are some places where the prices are well below $3 per gallon.
According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular unlead gas is $3.45 in New York State. That is down about 20 cents from last month.

But if you are willing to drive a little bit, you can find gas prices that are almost 80 cents cheaper. You can fill up for as little as $2.69 per gallon.
Gasbuddy.com shows that several gas stations are offering gas for under $3 per gallon.

While the average price of gas has dropped, the price in New York remains higher than the national average. The national average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas is around $3.12.
So if you want to save some money and the trip is worth it, you could save around 75 cents per gallon if you visit one of the stations mentioned above. That is a $7.50 savings if you are putting in 10 gallons.
The good news is that the trend of gas prices dropping should continue into the holiday weekend. So this year it should cost you less to visit family and friends this Christmas.
