This weekend was the last time Gary The Silent Clown was set to perform at the Erie County Fair. Gary The Silent Clown first performed at the Erie County Fair in 1989.
Gary is originally from Rhode Island and spent most of his time on the road performing all over the country and the world. He has spent many years entertaining kids and adults for years here in Western New York.
Gary and his wife moved to Florida earlier this year and will move into semi-retirement in his new home. He will stop traveling and performing and according to his Facebook page will be working at Walt Disney World.
So if you are missing Gary The Silent Clown's act after the fair, you will have a chance to see him again at Walt Disney World.
Even though Gary The Silent Clown's last show was this weekend, there are still plenty of things to do at the Erie County Fair's last week.
The fair is open daily from 11 am until 10 pm and has tons of other performers, rides, vendors, and of course farm animals.
Tickets to the fair are $13.50 per adult 13 and over if you buy tickets online or they are $15 per adult 13 and over if you buy your tickets at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free.
The Erie County Fair will wrap up on August 22nd.
