A week after many members of Bills Mafia were disappointed with how the Referees handled the AFC Championship game, they might not have to sweat out another bad spot on 4th and 1.


Most of Bills Mafia along with a lot of NFL analysts thought Josh Allen got the first down that play. One ref had the ball ahead of the first down marker while another one had the ball behind the line, which is where the ball was spotted.

Now it looks like the NFL might be considering using technology to mark first downs.

According to Sports Illustrated, the league might use a system called "The HawkEye" to track whether the ball gets across the 1st down marker or not. It is something they used in the preseason at certain games but not in the regular season or postseason.

The NFL could help settle many debates with this technology and the Bills could of been in the Super Bowl if they were using it in the AFC Championship game.
