FeedMore WNY Holding “Spread The Love” Peanut Butter Fundraiser
Last week was "National Peanut Butter" Day and peanut butter is one of the biggest needs at area food pantries in Western New York.
The good news is that FeedMore WNY is holding its annual "Spread The Love" peanut butter drive. They are looking to collect 10,000 pounds of peanut butter before the end of February.
Peanut butter is the most requested food idea at area food pantries and it is also a staple in FeedMore WNY's backpack program where they send food home with students who are in need.
They will be collecting all types of peanut butter including smooth, chunky, and peanut butter/jelly mixes, they are even looking for other nut butter like almond since some kids are allergic to peanut butter.
