Famous New Yorker Spotted In Crowd At Bills Playoff Game

The Buffalo Bills held on to beat the Miami Dolphins in the opening round of the NFL playoffs on Sunday.

They did it in front of a sold-out home crowd that included one very famous Western New York.

CNN anchor and host of "The Situation Room" Wolf Blitzer was in the crowd to watch the game.

Blitzer was born in Kenmore and attended Kenmore West High School before getting a degree in history from the University of Buffalo.

There was another famous NFL hall of Famer at the game yesterday as well, but he was rooting for the other team. Dan Marino was spotted sitting in the visiting owner's suite during pre-game and during parts of the game. Marino is one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history and many Bills fans know him from his battles with Jim Kelly during the 1980s and 1990s.

Up next for the Bills is another home playoff game. They are set to host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with kick-off set for 3 pm. The Bengals were the Bills' Monday Night football opponent when Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac attack while on the field.

That regular season game was suspended which means if the Kansa City Chiefs win their game this weekend, the winner of the Bills/Bengals game will face off against the chiefs at a neutral site in Atlanta.

The Bills have played the Bengals 32 times, including those two postseason games. Buffalo leads the series, 17-15. The last match-up that wasn't suspended was in 2019 when the Bills won, 21-17.
