Extreme Heat And Severe Weather In Western New York

It will be another wild weather day in Western New York. Today will feel more like Florida than New York in the 716, with extreme heat and possible severe weather.

Extreme Heat On Tap For Western New York

We are looking at another Hot and humid day today in Western New York. Our high temperature could hit 90 degrees or above, but with the humidity, we could see the heat index into the triple digits.

A heat advisory is in place for all of Western New York today from Noon until 8 pm. There is also an extreme heat warning for Niagara, Orleans, and Monroe counties from noon today until Friday afternoon.

If you have to be outside today, stay hydrated and make sure to find shade and air conditioning if possible.

Severe Weather Possible Today Across Western New York

With the hot and humid weather, we could see possible severe thunderstorms and a slight risk of a tornado in Western New York. The biggest chance for severe weather will be east of the City of Buffalo heading towards Rochester.
