Niagara County Community College's Liberty Partnerships Program is a dropout prevention and career preparation program that services grades 5-12 in Niagara County. Gaskill Preparatory, a middle school that is one of nine Niagara County Liberty sites, is planning a trip to New York City in June of 2014 as a year-end reward for its hard-working scholars. The students have set academic, behavioral, and attendance goals for this trip and are striving to meet them every day. This show is the latest in a string of fundraising efforts to make this trip happen without imposing a financial burden on Liberty families. Our students are excited for this show not only to raise money, but also to share their positive creative energy with the Buffalo-Niagara community. They have already taken part in a mural project to help beautify downtown Niagara Falls and admirably hope to spread their message and energy as far as possible. They are truly striving for a better, more beautiful future in their hometown.
