Erie County Fair Hit Major Attendance Milestone This Year

If you went to the Erie County Fair last month, know that you were part of another major milestone for the fair.

This week the Erie County Fair released their report from this past August's "12 Best Days of Summer" and it was a good report.

Here is a quick snapshot of the 2023 Erie County Fair:

- Once again, over 1 million people visited the Erie County Fair. The total attendance was 1,125,347 people which was slightly down from last year.

Feel Good Mornings With Dave Fields Mon-Fri 6am-10am

- The Fair collected a record amount of food donations for Feedmore WNY on the opening day of the fair. Anyone who brought at least 4 items to donate got free admission to the fair that day. 140,834 pounds of canned goods were collected.

- The Erie County Fair also awarded a record amount of scholarships to high school and college students this year. Overall they handed out $50,000 in scholarships.
