Former Buffalo Bills Mafia favorite Duke Williams is facing a suspension from the Canadian Football League after he went off the rails during warm-ups and attacked an opposing player with this helmet.
Williams who now plays for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL was caught on camera having an altercation with a player from the Toronto Argonauts. The two teams were warming up ahead of the CFL's Touchdown Atlantic Game when the two players were caught fighting with each other.
Wiliams can be seen being restrained by one of the other Toronto Argonauts players before he swings and tosses a helmet at Shaquille Richardson. The two players were quickly separated and it looks like Richardson was not hurt by the helmet.
Williams did go on to play in the game and now league officials will review the tape and if he is will be suspended for his actions.
This happened a couple of years ago in the NFL where Cleveland's Myles Garrett rip off the helmet of Pittsburg Steelers QB Duck Hodges and swung it and hit Hodges on the head. Garrett's swing happened during the game in week 10 and the NFL suspended him for the rest of the season.
The CFL has not issued a statement at the time of this writing.
