The Buffalo Bills players returned to Western New York this week as the first OTAs of the new season kicked off.

All eyes were on #17 for the Buffalo Bills as Bills Mafia are hoping that Josh Allen can do something that no one Buffalo Bills quarterback has done, win a Super Bowl.

Of course, Allen can't play football 24/7. He is known to enjoy a round or two of golf. He spent time this year at the Master's and also plans to be at Oak Hill in Rochester for the PGA Championship.

But where does Josh go when he wants to golf here in Western New York? He was asked that question during his press conference on Tuesday and the answer shouldn't surprise anyone.

This golf course is one of the best in Western New York but your chance to see Josh Allen swinging away is minimal since the course is an exclusive private club.

Josh Allen said his favorite place to play is Crag Burn in East Aurora.

According to their website, Crag Burn is home to a championship style 18 hole course and is a members-only club.

Membership at Crag Burn is an exclusive ticket to play on one of the top golf courses in New York. Crag Burn Golf Club offers an 18 hole championship golf course designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr, 12 acre practice facility and a distinguished bar and restaurant. Membership at Crag Burn is by invitation only.

Crag Burn was also named one of the top golf courses in the county by the website top100golfcourses.com.

So if you can get a tee time, chances are you might see Josh and his friends playing a round or two.

RANKED: Top 25 Golf Courses in Upstate New York

There are numerous "best golf course" lists circulating. These are proposed by popular golf magazines, websites, golf professionals, and others. Surprisingly, almost all of them agree on the best New York courses, with some moving one particular course up or down slightly in their rankings.

I like this list of Top 100 Golf Courses online in association with sports company TaylorMade. I like it because for each entry they also put a bit of course history in their comments section. Each of the top 25 golf courses in Upstate New York (in this gallery) have a link "to the list" so you can see other courses, not in Upstate, and where they ranked.

Note: This featured gallery includes just the top 25 for Upstate New York, but there are others, so be sure and check "the list."

Have you played any of these great golf courses?
