Many people will have a long weekend this weekend as we get ready to celebrate Memorial Day on Monday.
With more time on our hands, many people will head out to do some shopping, but there is one retail chain that you will want to avoid.
Retail Giant Announced They Will Be Closed On Memorial Day
Many retail stores in recent years have been adjusting their hours on holidays to allow employees to spend more time with their families. Some stores will have special reduced hours while others will be closed completely for the holiday.
Costco has announced it will continue its tradition of closing for the holidays by being closed on Monday for Memorial Day in New York State. It seems, based on my online research, they will be the only retail giant to be closed on Monday.

What Retail Stores In New York Will Be Open On Monday?
According to AOL.com, most retail stores will be open on Memorial Day. Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and Dick's Sporting Goods stores will all be open on Memorial Day. Some of these retailers might have special holiday hours, but most will be open normal business hours.
Other stores like PetSmart and Tractor Supply are also expected to be open with normal business hours.
