Another popular bakery in Western New York will be closing its doors at the end of the month. This adds to a long list of restaurants and other food spots to close this year in Western New York.

Popular Bakery Set To Close After 40 Years In Business

According to a post on their social media page, the very popular Chrusciki Bakery is set to close its final retail location in Western New York. They are currently located inside the Delavan Hotel on Transit Road in Lancaster.

Chrusciki's has been open for 40 years and said in its social media post, that while the retail location is closing, they are looking forward and are excited for some new beginnings.

No word on what the new beginnings will be.

Restaurants That Closed This Year In Western New York

Chrusciki Bakery is just the latest popular restaurant/bakery to close this year in the 716.

Some of the other places include

Pubski's Pub: They closed in April 2026 after the building they were in was sold by their landlord.

Juicy Burger Bar: Closed their Delaware Avenue location in April 2026 due to economic changes.

Allen Burger Venture: Closed its doors at the end of January 2026.

Grey Lynn Gin Bar: Closed on Main Street in downtown Buffalo in February 2026.

Public Espresso: Closed all three of its Buffalo cafés in 2026.
