Chick-Fil-A Named America's Favorite Restaurant

The winning streak continues for one restaurant that has been named America's favorite restaurant a now record eight times by the American Customer Satisfaction Index.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index released its latest study on fast-food businesses and found America's favorite place to dine for 2022.

Chick-Fil-A scored 83 out of 100 on the latest survey of customer stratification. In fact, Chick-Fil-A was the second favorite business no matter the category. They were just behind Trader Joe's who scored an 85.

Looking at the best fast-food restaurants, behind Chick-Fil-A was Jimmy John’s which scored 79 this year.

Domino’s and KFC both scored 78, while four chains, Chipotle, Panera, Pizza Hut, and Starbucks, all scored 77.

Scoring a 76 this year was Arby’s, Five Guys, and Papa Johns. Burger King, Little Caesars, Panda Express, and, Subway all scored 75.

Dairy Queen, Dunkin’, and Sonic scored 74, and Wendy’s scored 73.

McDonald's scored the lowest on the survey with a 68.

The fast-food restaurant with the biggest drop from 2021 was Dunkin'. The chain was down 4% from last year, dropping from 77 in 2021 to 74 in 2022.

Overall according to the survey, customers prefer dine-in restaurants over Fast food places, but make more trips to fast food places over sit-down restaurants.
